JOB DESCRIPTION
Applicants will be working with students with disabilities and potential behaviors/mental health.
Learning Academy is a level 3 behavior program for students with disabilities aged 5 - 21
Ability to work with a variety of districts, departments, teachers, parents and children. Demonstrate ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate successful learning environments.
Job requirements: High school diploma, teaching certificate (or local substitute certification) effective communication skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with a team in a fast-paced work environment.

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB TASKS:
|
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and competencies.
- Must have people skills including the ability to build relationships, establish trust and credibility and tailor assistance to individual students’ needs.
- Be creative and have adaptive thinking to match teaching objectives, learning strategies, and instructional plans with students’ abilities and learning modalities.
- Deliver instruction utilizing appropriate resources, equipment, materials, technology and instructional strategies.
- Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff.
- React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Manage student behavior.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and utilize it to modify instruction, content and to report progress to parents and school districts.
- Maintain confidentiality of information concerning staff, students, and parents within all districts served.
- Adhere to all ESU 7 policies, rules, regulations, and supervisory directives
- Other duties as assigned.
